Thea’s passion for poetry and song led her to create Baltimore Musicales, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the art of the song recital.

As executive director, she has curated and produced over 100 programs of art song, opera, musical theater and vocal chamber music throughout Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Silver Spring, MD, featuring a rotating roster of professional singers and instrumentalists.

Now in its eleventh season, Baltimore Musicales provides performance opportunities for outstanding regional artists and builds community through shared musical experiences.
